Seagulls at Night

A twilight canvas
barren of light
prelude to the masterpiece
hovers unseen
upon desolate skies
waiting to be fashioned.

Out of darkness
they emerge
white winged choreographers
painting circles
and breeding life.

Seagulls at Night soar
a free form phenomenon.
